Central Texas Food Bank will be holding a food distribution event in East Austin on Monday for Central Texans who find themselves in need as a result of power outages following the recent ice storm.
“The Central Texas Food Bank is concerned about how the recent ice storm is affecting everyone, in particular the thousands of Central Texans who find themselves in need as a result of the recent power outages. Having served more than 1,000 households at special distributions at Onion Creek Soccer Complex and Nelson Field on Saturday, February 4, the Food Bank is mobilizing again in response to the increased need in our community,” the food bank said in a press release on Sunday.
